WHAT'S THE BRAZIL OFFICIAL CAMP?
This camp is a real-life experience of The Brazilian National Team youth training program. This is the only soccer camp in the world, which curriculum was designed by the Brazilian Football Confederation coaching education department (CBF Academy). The curriculum promotes the essence of the Brazilian Jogo Bonito (beautiful game) through activities that enhance Creativity, Improvisation and 1v1 Skills. The methodology makes use of training stations to expose players to different aspects of the game. Each station includes the perfect balance between training exercises and small-sided games, where players are encouraged to use the knowledge acquired in the exercises to solve problem in real game situations. Ultimately, the camp also aims to use soccer as a tool to enhance important values such as respect, friendship, discipline, effort and grit. All activities were designed age appropriately, taking into consideration motor and cognitive stages of development of the participants. Camp is challenging but equally fun.
CBF METHODOLOGY
CBF’s methodology is a tool for teaching children and youngsters soccer techniques based on the rich content of the Brazilian football culture. Part of the methodology is to craft citizens by encouraging collectivity, technical skills, self-sufficiency, and understanding of the game, to enable players to make the best decisions on and off the field. Values, creativity, responsibility, commitment, reliability, and morals are stimulated and contextualized within the game’s scope.
